Dialectal Arabic : Let us say that the dialectal Arabic is the extremely simplified shape of the classical Arabic or literal, it is the language spoken about the every day who does not embarrass all rigid rules of the written language. One traditionally distinguishes two large "blocks" from dialects : the Eastern Bloc (Egypt, Syria, Irak .) and the Maghrebian block (Mauritania , Morocco, Algeria, Tunisia, Libya). Inside the same block, there are "national" speeches. The , spontaneous communication, is a little bit complicated between speakers of the two blocks : one then use "the written Arabic" or what is called today "intermediate Arabic".
Intermediate Arabic, or intermediate language : Intermediate Arabic is a language who is located between the literal and the dialectal. A speaker well-read man (who knows the written Arabic) is able to communicate with interlocutors who do not speak the same dialect as him. En simplifiant à l’extrême, disons que ce que l’on appelle l’arabe intermédiaire est une langue qui se situe entre le littéral et le dialectal. Un locuteur lettré (connaissant l’arabe littéral) va, pour être sûr de se faire comprendre par des interlocuteurs qui ne parlent pas le même dialecte que lui, utiliser un mélange de structures dialectales et littérales et prendre soin d’utiliser un lexique abondamment puisé dans le littéral, connu par tous…
