Our conception of the Arabic language and culture is strictly secular and merely didactic. Yet, on this site, our relevant links may send you back to contents which might not follow this line of thought. If so, those contents will only involve their authors.
Teaching package "Al-Manhaj"
Each sequence is divided into lessons based on the same theme. The first sequence contains three, while the four other sequences each contain two lessons. The lessons from the same sequence are complementary. The sequences themselves are complementary as well and assure rigorous lexical and grammatical progress. They can also be studied independently or in a different order, according to the needs of the teacher and students in classes of various sizes. Writing practice and phonetic exercises begin in the first two sequences, or the first five lessons. For practical reasons (a class with only one teacher), the translations of the texts and dialogues are placed in the appendix at the end of the workbook. The answers to the exercises, which are essential for students teaching themselves, are published in a separate manual which is available by order. Finally, a CD containing all the recordings necessary for oral practice also accompanies the workbook. Modern Arabic as a language of communication. A manual specially designed for non-Arab speaking communities.
